Origin and Evolution
BECERRA was funded in 1918 as a collective office and it has kept such condition during its extended life.
Its business has focused from the beginning on tax and business law counselling and management and it expanded later on to employment and social security law on one hand and to economic and accounting counselling on the other. Several companies have been established to carry out the above. Currently BECERRA is formed by four companies with the following goals:
BECERRA ADVOCATS, S.L.P. (Private Civil Partnerships) Tax and business law and general legal counselling. BECERRA LABORAL, S.L. (Private Civil Partnerships) Employment and social security law. BECERRA ASSESSORS ECONOMICS, S.L. (Limited Liability) Economic and accounting counselling. BECERRA DRET PROCESSAL, S.C.P. Civil, Commercial and Criminal Litigation.
Clients
Originally catering for Spanish clients only, the company has now expanded business to all the important countries. Our clients include: large and medium companies; small businesses and sole traders; and natural personas holding large and medium sized estates.

The growing difficulty when dealing with legal and economic problems has resulted in:
a) The creation of external consultants whose work focuses on the drafting of reports and also dealing with clients more directly. For that purpose, several professionals are briefed in the different areas and will manage their cases themselves under our supervision.
b) To be part of a professional structure represented in every country: The “International Association of Accounting and Auditing” (www.inaa.org).
c) The creation of a network of lawyers’ offices in Spanish territory known as “Fidelity Lex” (www.fidelitylex.com).
d) Its integration in several associations of Catalan and Spanish scope in the field of tax, economic, accounting and employment law.
Service quality
BECERRA is a collective of professionals well known for being directly responsible of the cases before their clients. Such fact excludes delegation and division of competencies and powers so common in other business organisations. Should any case be commissioned, it shall be directly supervised by the professional in charge of it.
BECERRA believes that the best way to offer an excellent service for the clients is to keep a simple and adaptable structure. Foreign languages normally used are English, French and Italian.
